Le M de Megève is committed to the protection of the environment.
It is quite natural that we have adopted this approach of a green vision, through simple gestures at first - the sorting of waste, the elimination of single-use plastic whenever possible... - and then through strategies and objectives, which we wish to perfect every day.
How do we combine this approach with the satisfaction of our customers, who are looking for luxury and comfort?
RENEWAL OF THE LINEN IN THE ROOM
The management of the linen represents one of the most notable actions within our establishment. We sensitize our customers who can choose to have their towels changed only on request.
WE ENCOURAGE OUR CUSTOMERS AND ENGAGE OUR EMPLOYEES
Through a display for our customers and training for our employees, we encourage them to reduce their water and energy consumption. Turning off the lights, air conditioning...these are not trivial gestures.
WE VALUE THE PRODUCTS OF OUR REGION
At M de Megève, a rigorous selection of local producers with rich soils and suppliers privileging short circuits are at the heart of our approach of local economy.
WE DEVELOP SLOWTOURISM / ECO MOBILITY
Today, we want to go even further in our desire to reduce our ecological footprint, with "green" experiences that we have imagined for you. Discover the culture and the preserved nature of Megève with horse-drawn carriage rides.
WE USE ORGANIC CLEANING PRODUCTS
Within our establishment, maintenance is one of the most recurrent tasks. We affirm our ecological effort by choosing eco-labelled and environmentally friendly cleaning products, microfiber cloths... we reduce by 50% the cleaning products by a system of ozonated water production (reusable and refillable bottles).
WE VALORIZE WASTE
In particular, we recycle soaps with the support of associations, which collect and process them in a center that creates jobs for disabled workers. Once recycled, these soaps are then given to associations that distribute them to disadvantaged people.
WE REDUCE WATER AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Our lighting is equipped with low consumption LED bulbs and presence detectors for turning on the lights in the common areas have been installed.
WE SET UP A GREEN TEAM
In order to ensure the follow-up and control of the actions implemented, a green team will be set up within the establishment. Its mission will be to set and implement new environmental objectives and ensure their follow-up, and involve all employees in these good practices.
